A Year in Photos: Week 34

Day 229

Going to Mass Saturday night means getting to go to breakfast Sunday morning! We all enjoyed delicious food at Kolache Factory.

Day 230

Just reading a book in her diaper. Ironically that book is about clothing and what it covers, haha.

Day 231

Donna sent me this pictures and said she was dancing. She's got the music in her, what can I say?

Day 232

We ate dinner at the Fry's! So fun getting to play with Aidan. :-) I think Reese really likes going down there, Aidan has some pretty neat toys.\

Day 233

I bought Reese a lunchbox on Etsy and I love it! We now bring her lunches in style.

Day 234

Husbandy and I both got off early and headed to Abilene! Reese did pretty good during the 3 hour drive. If she got fussy we just gave her something new to play with. This time it was one of her favorite books. She looks so cute learning all about the color orange.

We made it to Abilene and ate delicious lasagna that Kelly made! Reese certainly didn't hate it.

Annabelle also ate lasagna, but you wouldn't know it cause she's not into the whole get it all over yourself thing.

Day 235

Babies taking naps, dads shooting guns and mom drinking wine outside. Now that's a good time.

Just in case I don't get to write about our visit, I want to post some pictures here. Husbandy and I had the best time (Sunday pictures will be on the next post)!

Reese made herself at home and took out all of Annabelle's books to read.

LOVE these faces (mostly Annabelle and Reese's...no offense Michael)!

Thank you Kelly for reading to Reese. :-) You are such a wonderful mom.

Miss this girl so much.

It took the guys approximately 5 tries for this picture.

There's really nothing like sitting outside, having some wine, and good conversation. Can't wait for the next visit!

A Year in Photos: Week 33

Day 222

She may not be a master at it, but Reese loves eating with a fork or spoon. Here she is practicing with some carrots.

Day 223

Reese and Liam had their first date in Jorja's playroom. It included sharing food, laughing, and lots of conversation. Ah, young love.

Day 224

Silly camera time with my sweet girl! I really can't have enough of these.

Day 225

Reese feel asleep with both of her legs hanging out of the crib. It's nights like these I wonder if I should risk moving her and waking her up. Typically I decide, nope, definitely not worth it.

Day 226

I had tons of work to do, so I left early only to be stuck in this traffic on Preston. Thank you blinking lights. If you know the area, it took me 30 minutes to go from Arapaho to Belt Line! When I got to work, I ended up having to wait on someone who was also stuck on Preston. Ahh, so much for planning ahead.

Day 227

Wine tasting with some of my favorites!!! Yum.

This is what I returned to when I got home. Obviously Reese and daddy had a terrible time. (I was also later informed they took a walk to Sweet Firefly as well).

Day 228

We're about to have a full time walker!

A Year in Photos: Week 32

Day 215

John found the most comfortable seat in the house at dinner. What a cutie!!

Day 216

Reese playing with her best bud, Dean, at daycare. Seriously, every picture I get has these two in it.

Day 217

Reese just doesn't have enough toys. Someone help this baby out.

Day 218

Aidan and Aunt Becca came over to play! There's nothing like screaming while running up and down the hallway.

Day 219

Reese loves playing with this car while at my dad's house.

Day 220

I was freezing at work! Luckily I have an 8 month pregnant friend there and she was not quite as cold as I was. She also happened to have an unused blanket. :-)

Day 221

It's kinda hard to see, but Reese fell asleep with her lovie on top of her. I thought it was so cute...until she woke up screaming. The only reason I thought she would wake up like that was because of a doll right in her face. So, no more of that.

A Year in Photos: Week 31

Day 208

Sunday we had all the family over for swimming! This is the first time everyone has come over all at once this summer. Sadly, the only time I thought to take a picture was before Aidan joined us.

Brooklyn gave us the best rendition of Let It Go I've heard yet, so I have to share! They are unlisted and not uploaded to my youtube account, so links are going to have to do:

The cousins had SO MUCH fun playing together.

Day 209

Just playin with my sweet girl. She had to wear bibs for a little over a week because she was so snotty from a cold and drooly from teething.

Day 210

Reese had Chick Fil A for the first time! She loved it.

Licking her plate of broccoli. She's been eyeing her uncle I think. ;-)

Day 211

Princess Reese drinking her morning milk.

Day 212

This is not a good depiction of what went on this particular day. We actually took Mimi out for a nice dinner as a thank you for all the times she's watched Reese. We didn't take any pictures at dinner, so I thought I'd use this as a filler. Reese loves brushing her teeth. Thank you Aunt Becca for buying her a toothbrush!

Day 213

Husbandy and I both took off Friday so we could go look at day cares. I really like where Reese is right now, but we think it's time for her to see a little more structure and education. Nothing too crazy. We got a lot of things done during the day and treated ourselves to a delicious lunch at Whiskey Cake!
I absolutely looove their turkey burger, but it was off the menu for a while! At the time, I was pregnant and actually wrote the chef to tell him he needed to put it back on! The last time I checked, it wasn't back, so you can imagine how excited I was when I this!
Friday night we went to Jay and Amy's rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. It was lots of fun and good Mexican food was eaten. :)

Day 214

We had to be at the church for pictures at 1:30, so we put Reese down for her nap a little later than usual. Our plan was to take pictures and then drive Reese around and let her nap before the ceremony. Well, turns out things did not go as planned and the wedding party didn't get to the church until 3:00! Which meant no nap for Reese, also no food. This is us hanging out at Perkins Chapel.

Despite her lack of sleep and food, Reese did great! She attended the reception for about an hour, then Mimi picked her up. Husbandy and I spent the rest of the night catching up with people we hadn't seen in 4 years and dancing the night away! We even witnessed a Vietnamese Tea Ceremony. So much fun. Congrats Jay and Amy and thank you for letting Reese be a part of your special day!
And just in case you were on the edge of your seat....here's the dress I picked!
