A Year in Photos: Week 11

Day 74

Four little cousins all in a tub! It's not the best picture, but it's the only one I got with all of them looking mostly in my direction. Precious memories.

Day 75

Reese was playing the guitar with dada. There were sound effects and everything!

Day 76

Our youngest GND member aka Reese's future sister in law. ;-)

Day 77

One of Reese's favorite books these days is Cat in the Hat. This time she was reading it to me.

Day 78

Thursday night we celebrated Husbandy's birthday with my dad at Texas de Brazil. You might be thinking we're crazy because we brought Reese, and you would be right. She's just not into 2 hours meals, but I can't really blame her. We didn't have any full on melt downs just lots of moving around. She did sit pretty still for dessert, however.

Licking the raspberry topping.

Reese fell asleep Thursday night holding on to her crib, which I thought was pretty funny.

Day 79

Reese was so proud of her dada quitting his job. Ok, that makes the situation sound bad, but Husbandy did put in his two weeks notice (and was told to just leave due to company policy). He does have another job lined up and we are very excited for it! He'll be doing the same thing, just under new management. Friday night we went to dinner to celebrate.

Day 80

Bec and I spent Saturday afternoon watching a "The Best of Me" with Kelly. I honestly don't remember the last time I watched a movie curled up on a couch without interruptions. It was perfect!

Afterward, Bec and I joined the rest of the family who was helping our brother move into their new house. Here are the three oldest cousins eating their pizza together. Lots of memories to be made in this house!

A Year in Photos: Week 10

Day 67

Sunday consisted of a lot of dancing. First there was dancing at breakfast (Kolache Factory, delicious!) then we got all four cousins dancing at dinner on Sunday...to no music. Check out my sister's blog for a really fun dance party to Shake It Off.

Day 68

Recently, when Reese gets home from daycare she's in a pretty cranky mood. Her teachers tell us shes' been so happy all day, so I don't know what it is about coming home. Maybe we're just not as fun. Monday was no different, but after dinner she was in the best mood! I love the sound of these laughs.

Day 69

Reese brushing her teeth while taking a bath. There's nothing like killing two birds with one stone!

Day 70

Reese is always good for laugh after bath time. She also will laugh on command now and it's pretty great.

Day 71

Reese and Annabelle had really been missing each other, so we decided to go over for dinner....on a Thursday! Crazy parents. It was definitely worth it, minus the part where we had to pick up my car on the way home and got stuck in 635 construction traffic. Thankfully Reese was happy the entire time!

Day 72

Friday night we finally went to eat dinner with my grandparents. We actually opened Christmas presents, that's how long it had been. :-/ I thought this picture was too cute.

Reese isn't really into sitting in a high chair for an extended period of time, so during dinner she decided to sit under it and play with the buckles. You be you, girl.

Day 73

You got it, we got to see Annabelle twice in one week! Reese, was excited.

Reese and Annabelle have discovered that if you work together, you can get both dads on the ground at one time. What will they think of next?!

A Year in Photos: Week 9

Day 60

Just getting ready to go to Mimi's.

Brooklyn was not sharing the duck, so Reese figured this was the best way to make her. I'd say that's good problem solving skills.

Day 61

This is Reese's new at home outfit. Beanie, diaper, leopard shoes.

Day 62

Stars game with some favorites! Free tickets from the BIL is a pretty sweet deal. Husbandy is obviously very excited about the ice cream cookie he was eating. :-) My thought is that it looks better than it tastes.

Day 63

Reese is very particular about what cup she's drinking from these days. Any by particular I mean grumpy. Wednesday it was the Bubba Cup or screams.

Day 64

Happy birthday, Husbandy! We woke up to a winter wonderland which meant everyone got to stay home! I'd say that kinda worked out.

The day warmed up pretty fast, so we took Reese out in the snow before her nap. Those three piles in front of her are the snowmen dada built. Hehe.

Day 65

I told Reese to make a silly face and this is what she gave me. Model in training. Also, do you see all those teeth?!

Day 66

Saturday night Husbandy and I attended a wedding of a guy that's kinda like a brother to me. Actually, my real brother was the best man! I love weddings, I feel like Jason and I renew our wedding vows every time we go to one. The homilies are always so great and it's just so beautiful and happy.

My bro giving his toast, which was amazing. My sister had to miss the wedding, so we got a shortened version of the toast at dinner on Sunday night and I cried for the second time. We have now all officially given toasts at weddings, and I have to admit they were all pretty stellar. I've heard a lot of toasts and they are definitely my top three. :-)

A Year in Photos: Week 8

Day 53

Being the first to Mimi's means you get the car aaall to yourself!

We celebrated Zilla at Sunday night dinner which meant he got to open even more gifts. :-) As you can see, the rest of the cousins wanted to help as much as they could.

Day 54

Our first ice of 2015. Husbandy left Sunday night for Austin and I was a little nervous about getting Reese ready for the day and getting to work on time, but ice meant day care was closed! So, we just hung out at the house all day. Actually, later that night we went down to the Fry's to eat dinner and play. We have the best neighbors!

Day 55

This is the face of concentration. Reese's present from Aunt Beccabeccabecca is a huge hit!

Day 56

You got it, Zilla came over Wednesday night for some playtime. Husbandy was still in Austin, so I was very grateful for company. Actually, Mimi was at my house Wednesday night as well. With the kids not in great moods, we all decided a little Thai food was just what we needed.

Day 57

This is the smile of a girl who's daddy decided to come home early!! I was really just as excited as she was, but her face obviously portrays it better.

Reese took a bath at Grandpa's and I finally discovered this little gem. I'm pretty sure this is why Reese knew exactly what to do with the sucker Dr. M gave her a couple weeks ago. Hmm...

Day 58

Snow! Instead of ice, there was actually some snow during this round of winter weather. Husbandy and I decided to take Reese out for some fun since daycare was cancelled again. The bad thing was, we didn't have any mittens for her. But, that didn't stop her from constantly holding a snowball to eat. Her little hands were so cold, I got nervous, and decided it was time to go back in. But look how happy she is!

Day 59

Reese is really loving bubble baths these days. The second she hears us mention it, she drops what she's doing and leads us to the bathroom. She definitely knows what she wants!
