A Year in Photos: Week 45

Day 312

Singing Jesus Loves Me. This was her second go around and I'm so mad I didn't get the first round cause she sang the entire song without being distracted. (turn up the sound, it's not very loud)

Day 313

She might not let me do her hair, but will always let Nina! I love the two braid action.

Day 314

Date night at Whiskey Cake!

Day 315

I could not pass up posting this picture. She told me she needed to go potty (she's not potty trained, but asks to go sometimes), so we went to the bathroom. After pulling down her pants and taking her diaper off she decided she needed a stool that was across the house in another bathroom. So, she waddled her way across the house and brought it back like this.

Day 316

This was Reese's face when I told her we were going to see Pumpkins with Grandpa the next day.

Day 317

Friday was a special day for Reese and I. She skipped school, I took off work, and we spent the day with Granpda.

We first hit up breakfast and Reese shocked me by staying in the highchair the entire time!

We then went to the arboretum and learned about different types of electricity. Water was obviously her favorite.

We then went and played on an ant.

My dad informed me this was his first selfie.

The pumpkins! We finally made it to the pumpkins and Reese had so much fun running around, picking up the small ones, and pretending to pick up the huge ones.

We found the Aggie pumpkin, and yes she picked it out herself.

In addition to the fall decor they also had the 12 Day of Christmas on display. We walked the entire thing and Reese kept asking for "more gazebos!"

Reese fell asleep super quick after the arboretum and lunch. Just in time for us to make the drive back home.

We then hit up chick fil a for some playtime and ice cream. She was being very silly.

The cookie my dad bought Reese at Casa Linda Bakery. Talk about a sugar attack! Thanks, dad, for a super fun day!

Day 318

We had a breakfast guest on Saturday morning. He got his own bowl with cereal. Luckily, I convinced Reese he didn't like milk.

Day 305

When you're two and the time changes, you wake up at 5:30 and fall asleep in the car at 10:45. We ended up driving to take a picture of some land for Husbandy's work. While we were doing that she woke up, so we went to lunch. I'd say that's win!

Day 306

Seven Days in the Week, sung by Reese.

Day 307

Womp womp. I forgot to take a picture, but found this video Reese took a few months ago. Nothing special, but I think it was her first, so it must be documented.

Day 308

The kiddos got to ride in a boat at swim! I know Zilla was very excited. :)

Day 309

I got to snuggle with this munchkin...

and so did Reese! Out of the blue she just asked to hold him, so I had to oblige. She was super sweet too, she told him her name and that she's his cousin, she told him she loved him, and sang him the ABCs (or ABCDs at our house).

Day 310

Reese was definitely the winner on Friday night. She only had sandals that she actually liked wearing, so we decided it was time for winter shoes. The white boots are definitely her favorite and she's really good at the winnie the pooh puzzle! Much to my disliking, she will not wear the turkey shirts, which I thought would be a for sure favorite. We'll see who wins on Thanksgiving (probably Reese).

Day 311

More fun at gymnastics!

You know you're comfortable at your friends house when you're doing housework with no pants on.

A Year in Photos: Week 43

Day 298

There is a house in our neighborhood that goes all out for Halloween and Reese LOVES it. Every time we're in the car she says "I want to go see the pumpkins." I don't think we'll ever make it to our house without stopping at this one first.

Day 299

Reese got sick at school today, so I went and picked her up during what should have been her nap time. She didn't fall back asleep when we got home, but then crashed in the car later when we went to pick up dinner. Poor little girl, she's really had a rough few weeks.

Day 300

Husbandy went to a Stars game with the boys and dropped Reese off at my office on his way. She definitely enjoyed playing with my phone and made some very important calls!

Day 301

Another stop at the pumpkins. I decided to take a few pictures of how much stuff they have at their house. There's actually more around the corner. Reese's favorite is definitely the cat. It moves its head and she'll say, "he's looking at me!"

Day 302

Had to document daddy's first time cutting finger nails. Lately Reese will only let Uncle J-Fry cut her nails, so this was break through.

Day 303

Reese got to dress up for school Friday. I knew there was no way she would keep her Minnie dress on, so somehow I convinced her to be a cat! I don't really like cats, but I think I'll keep this one.

Day 304

The cutest crew of trick or treaters you'll ever see! Panini was also there hanging out in mommy's sling with a construction paper fire taped to it to go with Big Brother's costume. Super cute!
My most favorite story from the night came at the last house when my brother asked his 4 yr old daughter (after getting her candy), "What do you say?" And she immediately turned to the person handing out the candy and said, "Um, are you old?" "No, no, that's not it" So. funny.

A Year in Photos: Week 42

Day 291

When your two year old wakes up from her nap in a grumpy mood, you think on your toes and make muffins together!

Day 292

Reese doesn't like to dress up (or wear any type of dress for that matter) and with Halloween coming up I keep wondering what she is going to be. Husbandy and I decided to take her to the store and let her chose something. We walked up and down the aisle and she finally pointed to this one. It's super cute, but I knew there was no way she'd keep it on. I was right, as soon as this picture was taken she wanted it off.

Day 293

Roodle and Zilla were pretending to fly!

Day 294

After swim we went to Cane's to support Kidd's Kids with the Fry's. The kids loved the 80's music and danced the entire time we were there.

Day 295

Reese took her sleeping on the floor routine to an extreme on this particular night and decided right in her doorway was the best place to rest her eyes. Husbandy and I decided we didn't want to risk waking her, so we ended up leaving her there. I was sure she would wake in the middle of the night crying, but she actually stayed there for most of the night. At around 4ish I looked at the monitor and she was laying on the floor next to her bed. You do you, Reese.

Day 296

Merit trick or treating is one of my favorite days of the work year. I've never been really into Halloween, but it was fun having Reese and Husbandy at work! She was definitely a crowd favorite.

My loves.

Our lives were forever changed with the birth of our newest nephew that night! My sister rocked her labor and delivery again and Panini was born in about 5 hours of laboring and 5 minutes of pushing!

Day  297

Saturday morning we hopped in the car to go see little Panini. He is just perfect and we're so glad he's here!

This was also Reese's first day of gymnastics! She was very distracted by the older girls and it took her a while to get into it, but she did have fun. We'll be back next week for sure.
