A Year in Photos: Week 21

Day 138

Reese just loves to go under our side table. She likes to try to trick us into thinking she just wants to sit there, but we know her real motivation are the cords that stick out from under the couch.

Day 139

We typically don't allow an men at GND, but we made an exception for Liam. He has better hair than I do, so I really couldn't turn him down.

Day 140

Speaking of Liam, look at this sweet note he left for Reese! He definitely knows a way to a woman's heart is presents. Reese loved all the cute clothes she can rock poolside this summer!

Day 141 

Here's Reese in her shoes that stayed on about 5 minutes. I promise I bought these things 4 months ago and her feet just aren't growing....

Aunt Amanda and Reese at the family reunion! Reese loved spending time the Wagner's and meeting lots of new people!

I had to include this picture of Eva and Reese. Evalyn was not used to having to share all her toys, but Reese stood her ground. :P

A Year in Photos: Week 20

Day 131

Mother's Day was special this year as it was my first with child out of utero! Husbandy got my beautiful flowers, then that night the guys cooked all us moms a delicious dinner then gave the kids a bath. Those dads are so good.

Day 132

Husbandy was picked to be on a jury all last week. While it was exciting to hear about when it was all over, it made nights hard cause he had to work late. Monday night Reese and I took him dinner and ate with him at his office.

Day 133

Aidan and Reese both went to my dad's for the evening while Bec hosted GND. You can never get enough cousin bath pictures. :)

Day 134

Reese thought the grass from the Easter basket was super fun to play with while mommy got ready. She was so proud of herself for pulling it all out; I was proud of her for not eating it!

Day 135

After work Husbandy and I taught our first NFP class! I was in a bit of trouble on my way over to St Joseph's as I had zero gas. Unfortunately the closest gas station was a little sketchy, but I got out alive. The class went alright. Husbandy thinks I'm too hard on ourselves, but the presentation was definitely not as smooth as it could be. The students did seem to get the all of concepts though!

Day 136 

A nice Friday night calls for a walk for burgers and ice cream. Reese loves it outside and was not opposed to the family walk. I love how comfortable she looks. Just kicked back and enjoying the ride. :D

Day 137 

This is how I found Reese in the morning....her arm coming out the neck hole in her pjs. She has a tendency to pull her arm in her shirt when she cries during the night. It's actually pretty annoying cause Husbandy and I know she's going to wake herself up trying to get her arm unstuck later. Lucky for us, that night, she found a solution to her problem without our help. :P

Day 124

Reese's first time in a swimsuit! She ended up not liking the kiddy pool cause the water was cold, but she's just too cute to not take a picture.

 Day 125

Mommy was at GND and this is the picture daddy sent. :D I love that she get some special time with daddy.

Day 126 

We took dinner to my bro and SIL and got to see our sweet nephew! I cannot believe how much he's already grown! Love this little boy.

Day 127 

 

Reese was again not feeling 100% so I got some cuddle time in. She had a mystery fever. I was convinced she had an ear infection, but when we went to the Dr he said her ears were all clear. We never really figured out what was wrong, so I'm guessing it was caused by some more teeth that are about to make their way!

Day 128

 

Husbandy passed all his real estate exams!! What better was to celebrate than the NFL draft and a margarita while Reese was being watched by my dad and Cindy. :)

Day 129

 

I had to work a little late on Friday, but I came home to Reese holding this little card for me. I thought it was sweet that Donna made these for us. I can only imagine how tough it was to get Reese to sit still long enough to trace her hand!

Day 130

 

We started celebrating Mother's Day a day early and went to get Fro Yo! Reese had her first taste of it and was a fan. I love these two so much!!

Day 117 

 

Celebrating my dad's birthday at his house! Brooklyn is just showing Reese how to put the rings on in the correct order.

Day 118

 

Reese and I spent the night at the Fry's as the guys had guys night. Apparently the Fry's just have one interesting book, as both kids only wanted to read this one. :)

How can I not post this sweet picture from Mrs D?! I love how it highlights her two bottom teeth.

So sad we didn't get pictures at dinner with our friends. Reese was asked to be flower girl. I think she's pretty excited, but I'm REALLY excited!!!

Day 121

 

Merit closed on a HUGE acquisition and held a HH at Blue Mesa. I'll take getting out early to celebrate any day!

 

 

I had to refrain from eating too much at the HH as I had a date night with Husbandy while Reese was with my dad and Cindy. Little did I know I was going to be ordering 4lbs of pasta! Needless to say I had leftovers for a few meals.

 

Day 122

 

Happy 5 years!!! Husbandy and I celebrated while Mimi watched Reese with a dinner at Ocean Prime. It was absolutely delicious, we would definitely love to go back! The bottom left if a picture of their peanut butter chocolate pie - we had to get it since we were missing Reese - and it was soooo gooood!

Day 123

 

Finally got my haircut! I'd been wanting to do it for a long time, but never found the time. I am ready for summer now. :)
