How far along: 21 weeks!
How big is baby: Baby is the size of a pomegranate and the length of a carrot. I’m not totally sure how those correlate. :) This week Baby's eyebrows and lids are present. As Baby’s digestive system prepares for the outside world, s/he is producing meconium. Also, interesting fact – if Baby Wagner is a girl she’s already got her lifetime supply of eggs in her womb. WOW!
Total weight gain: At our appointment, I was at about 10-11 lbs :-O
Maternity clothes: Yep, still wearing those. Hopefully I’ll be getting some new (to me) shirts now that Aidan is here. I also used some credit card points and got Husbandy and I gift cards to Old Navy. I’ll be treating myself once they get here.
Sleep: I had some rough nights this week where I woke up to go to the bathroom and then couldn't go back to sleep. My mind was RACING, I hate when that happens. I've also notice my left leg gets sore in the middle of the night because I’m constantly sleeping on that side. So, that’s pretty annoying.
Best moment of the week:
1) As mentioned in my previous blog, our nephew was born the day I turned 21 weeks. I already wrote about that, but it’s been so fun getting to hold him. :) He is so cute.
2) We had a Dr appointment!! Husbandy and I were so excited to get to see Baby again. We told the sono tech we (I) didn't want to find out if we are having a boy or girl that day, so she did all her measurements around the head, neck, upper body area, and then told us to look away. We also, found out Baby’s heartbeat is a healthy 153 bpm....which was about 5 bpm less than when we originally heard it. Dr B was a little surprised at how much weight I had gained since my last appointment, which was depressing. But, after I told him I had noticed swelling, he checked my leg, confirmed I was indeed swelling, and thought this was part of the reason. He didn't seem too concerned about the weight, so I guess that’s good? Either way, I’m very happy Baby is looking healthy.

Food cravings: No big cravings.
Food aversions: Same. Sometimes I forget about my aversions. This week, I ordered a chicken sandwich and Bec was like, oh, do you like chicken now?! I then had to tell her I forgot I didn't like chicken when I ordered it. Oops! Luckily, the sandwich was pretty good.
Symptoms: I've always had problems with acne, but since I've been pregnant I've been surprised how clear my skin has been. Unfortunately, this week it made its way back. Not too bad, but I was sad to see it. I had back pain this week. I don’t think it really had anything to do with pregnancy, but I also can’t figure out if I had/have a kidney stone or if I pulled something. As mentioned above, I've been swelling. Sometimes I look at my feet and just laugh cause they look ridiculous.
Movement: Oh yes! Sometimes Baby starts to go crazy in there. Other times, I don’t feel him/her for a while. I of course prefer the first. :) Husbandy has yet to feel Baby, I don’t think he's patient enough.
Gender: At this point the sono tech and Dr B know, but we don’t! Even though Husandy keeps telling me, “I know, I just know.”
What I’m looking forward to: We are celebrating Husbandy’s 30th birthday this weekend! We've rented a Whirly Ball court, so it should be lots of fun. I probably won’t be participating seeing as bumper cars aren't really my cup of tea at the moment.
What I miss: Not making strange noises when trying to get up. I feel like it helps with the lack of abdominal muscles.
Next appt: March 21st (that seems so far)
Workout/Fitness: Hmm I didn't do big workouts this week. Husbandy and I did do lots of house work on Sunday, and one night I did some random squats. Certainly not enough to call it a work out, though. :-/
