Day 109
Husbandy was giving the little one a bath one night and I heard lots of laughter. Naturally I got my phone to get a video! It turns out Husbandy was trying to get a bug and Reese thought all the swatting was hilarious. I'm going to have to look for another video that we have the first time this happened. Husbandy was getting a bug on our door and Reese cracked up. I mean the biggest belly laugh, she would have fell over if she was standing, so I of course made Husbandy do it again and again. I think it's on his phone, so I'll have to go digging for it.
Day 110
Husbandy didn't have the best Monday, so after dinner we treated ourselves to yogurt.
We also found out that Monster Yogurt has a play area for kids! Reese was just big enough to make it up a few platforms.
Day 111
Tuesday night we attended Muster with family. I tried to lighten this photo as much as I could, but Aunt Kelly finally got Reese to sit on her lap while she read Minnie to her. Reese has been very attached to Mommy and Daddy lately, so this was quite an a accomplishment.
Day 112
Wednesday evening friends brought over their bunny for us to watch while they went to FL. I would be lying if I said I haven't used Dooney as a distraction technique a few times.
Day 113
Reese is learning the ABCs! Right before this was taken, I sang the ABCs and pointed to each letter in the book as I said it. I love love love watching this girly learn!
Also, happy one year birthday to my second nephew!
Day 114
Friday night it POURED (thankfully we had just gotten home from dinner). We were looking at the rain come down and talking about how wet it was outside and Reese asked for a paper towel, walked to the door, and asked to go dry up the mess outside. She wasn't very happy that we told her she couldn't...
Day 115
Saturday afternoon we celebrated this smiley little boys first birthday! We had so much fun celebrating him. I love the top right photo. The kids all got a little crazy and decided to go swimming. The water was freezing (in my opinion), but once one got it, they all had to do it.
After the birthday party, we got to play with Zilla while his parents went to a work party. When it was time to go to bed, Zilla and I walked to his house, but he was sure not to forget his minion (or monster, as he called it). He carried it the entire way home. Can I also just say how fun it was to get to put him to bed? He certainly has a much easier bedtime routine than Reese and he was so so sweet. Gah, I love that little man.
