A Year in Photos: Week 7

Day 46

Reese loves doing laundry with mommy. Mostly is consists of moving clean clothes back and forth from the dryer to washer, but it is a god distraction when I need one!

Day 47

It was freezing outside, but that didn't stop Husbandy from getting an Oreo shake at dinner.

Day 48

Fat Tuesday consisted of this spread, a main course, and dessert at girls night. Delicious!

Day 49

We went to Mass as a family after work and then decided to get some fish for dinner. Reese was NOT having it, however. So, we quickly packed up our food and headed out. Here we are back at home, feeling better, and practicing the Sign of the Cross.

Day 50

I actually worked from home on Thursday because of pink eye. So, TBT to Sunday when we met up with Herbie! Herbie lead a group of Aggies across Europe on a trip I took after I graduated. Now every time he's in the States we meet up. This was the first time for him to meet Reese and it was a lot of fun.

Day 51

Friday Reese and I stayed home because she had the onset of pink eye. We ended up going to the Dr for medicine and he gave Reese a sucker. I've never given her one, but somehow she knew exactly what it was and exactly what to do with it. Very suspicious if you ask me....

Day 52

Saturday morning was spent at swim class. Reese is getting better at going under water.

Saturday evening we celebrated Aidan at his plains, trains, and automobiles party! Becca did a wonderful job (again) with all the decorations and food. Thankfully the weather was beautiful because when you're Aidan you have a lot of friends that want to come celebrate you! I cannot believe this boy is two! We love you Aidan!

A Year in Photos: Week 6

Day 39

The weather on Sunday was absolutely beautiful. Husbandy and I
took turns going to Mass since we weren't sure if Reese was contagious. The rest of the day was spent on lots of walks and playing in the backyard.

Day 40

This was taken right before we got in the bath. Reese was looking super cute in her shirt from Aunt Amanda. :-)

Day 41

Reese definitely woke up on the wrong side of the bed Tuesday morning. I'm doing a picture a day challenge to win a baby carrier and every day we have an inspiration word. Tuesday's was "morning." I was trying to get a sweet picture of Reese, but she wasn't having it! I ended up using an old one from my picture bank.

Day 42

Aidan and Reese we in charge of dinner Wednesday night....

Day 43

Thursday night I prepped for a dinner with friends on Friday. It ended up being a little bit of a late night, but it was worth it!

Day 44

These two girls LOVE to dance and we happen to love to watch them. Thanks to T Swift for providing such dance worthy music.

Day 45

The weather was perfect on Valentines, so we took a family walk to the park. Later that day we went to dinner with the Fry's and had a great time. We are definitely not Valentine's Day junkies, but we had the best day. :-)

A Year in Photos: Week 5

Day 32

My family came over for the super bowl. I wouldn't say I got to watch anything, but I certainly had fun playing with all the kids. When Reese wasn't playing, she was eating wings. What a daddy's girl!

Day 33

Just two dudes hanging out at girl's night....

Day 34

I told Reese to make this face and instead of making it where she was, she walked over to me and made it with me. I love this girl!

We went to the Stars game Tuesday night, to bad they went to shoot out and lost. :-( Can I just point out the guy in the top right? We took two photos and he made a face in both.

Day 35

Reese is trying sooo hard to put on her own clothes. She's not quite there, but I'm so proud of her for being persistent.

Day 36

Reese is still loving the brooms she got for Christmas.

Day 37

Turns out Reese had a little case of pink eye, so she got to stay home with dada on Friday. The weather was nice, so they took a trip to the park for a little bit. I got multiple pictures of them having fun while I was at work and got a little jealous.

Day 38

Saturday night Husbandy and I went to a gala for Regina Caeli. It included a silent and live auction, dinner, and entertainment. It was held at the Museum of Biblical Art so we also got to walk around and look at everything. We had a lot of fun and even won one of our bids! Congrats to Jorja and Katey for putting on such a wonderful event!

A Year in Photos: Week 4

Day 25

We had a room full at Sunday night dinner. Pretty sure there were 8 of us...

Reese is a little blurry, but it's the best I got of her right beside John. Reese is 18 months and John is 9!

Day 26

I got to GND a little late on Monday, but as soon as Aidan saw me he smiled real big and said Berly! He asked to sit in my lap and it definitely warmed my heart. I love my Godson!

Day 27

Reese is definitely learning how to ham it up for the camera!

Day 28

Wednesday was Papa Joe's birthday so Bec, Husbandy, and I rounded up Reese and Aidan and spent the evening with him! These are the delicious cupcakes I picked up during lunch to help with the celebration!

We decided to take one car, so Bec was chosen to squeeze in the back in between the car seats. It's a good thing she's small!

Papa Joe definitely enjoyed the company. Since we couldn't leave until after work then ran into traffic, we didn't get there until around 7:00. But, our short visit brought lots of smiles. Happy birthday to the best Papa Joe!

Day 29

Reese and Aidan spent the evening at my dad's. Before we left, I caught Reese feeding the lamb a bottle. What a good mama!

Day 30

Friday night we went over to a friend's house for dinner. While we were all talking in the dinning room we wondered where Reese and Annabelle went as it had gotten kinda quiet, when we turned the corner we saw this! Nothing better than laying on a dog's bed. :-)

Pretty sure these girls are going to be besties.

Day 31

Reese and Aidan are taking swim lessons! They loved their first class and both seemed to do well. With our up coming trip to a water park, we figure we better get this swimming thing down.

A Year in Photos: Week 3

Day 18

Sunday we celebrated Amanda's birthday. She was also nice enough to cut my hair! Based on Reese's smile, I think she likes it (and so do I).

Day 19

The girls all ready for the car ride to the beach (and to see Papa)! All smiles I tell you. At least for the picture.

Don't we look beach ready? The water was a little cold, so we didn't stay long. Actually we just stayed long enough to get a couple pictures. There were lots of people there tanning though, which is just crazy considering it was January 19th. I guess that's what you get when you live in FL.

Day 20

Reese didn't sleep very well the night before and was up at 5:00am. Around 9:00 I took her with me to get some coffee and she was out! I spent the next 2 hours driving around Lakeland so she could get a nap. Poor baby.

While eating dinner later that night at Amanda's, we heard lots of laughter down the hallway....this is what I found when I checked it out.

Day 21

The flight back to Dallas wasn't full, which meant Reese got her own seat. "Can I help you, mother? I'm reading."

After a long day of traveling back to Dallas, Reese was super tired. She slept hard all night and we didn't hear a peep. Husbandy was asleep before 9:00 and I wasn't far behind. Being able to see Husbandy's family again was great, but there's just something about being back at home...

Day 22

The best part of everyday is coming into the house and hearing Mama! I loved the addition of the bow daycare added to Reese's outfit. She must have not known it was there because later that night we were looking in the mirror and she saw it and made a face that said "what is that doing there?!" She immediately pulled it out.

Day 23

We went to the neighbors for diner on Friday. We definitely missed this bunch while we were in FL.

Day 24

Saturday morning Reese and I went over to play with Annabelle and I'm so sad cause I didn't get any pictures! I am looking forward to more play dates though. Later that afternoon we went to Mass then got ice cream at Sweet Firefly! People must have been loving the "warmer weather" (high 50s), cause the place was packed.

A Year in Photos: Week 2

Day 11

No one was leaving dinner on Sunday night until Reese finished her solo.

Day 12

We watched the College Football Championship with Aidan and Aunt B. How cute are these two putting their hands over their hearts during the National Anthem? Granted, Reese was a little off, but still cute.

Day 13

Ok, so I missed a few days. This was technically taken on Sunday, but I needed a place holder. It's not even that good of a picture, but it does have some cute babies. It also shows the car that everyone wants all at once when we're at Mimi's. :-)

Day 14

Completely missed Wednesday, so here's a cute video from the week before.

Day 15

This picture was stolen from my sister's blog, but that's what you get for posting Pic A Day posts on time. While Husbandy and I were teaching a NFP class, Aidan and Reese were having their own fun in our bedroom. Easter grass can seriously be a lot of fun, but it also makes a pretty big mess.

Day 16

Off we go to FL! Yes, we were just there in December. But, this time we were going to surprise Husbandy's dad for his birthday. We were picked up by Husbandy's sister, mom, and our niece (who knew we were coming) and then surprised Husbandy's dad when he got home from work. Husbandy and I hid in a back room while Reese played with Evalyn in the living room. When Husbandy's dad arrived he just kinda starred until it kicked in that Reese was in FL! We told him we surprised everyone and came as a late birthday present.

Day 17

I didn't get any pictures at the party, but the real reason we were in FL was that Husbandy's mom and sister were throwing his dad a surprise party. This may get a little long, but, here's how it went down. That morning Husbandy's mom went to get her hair done (ie help set up for the party), while she was away Husbandy and I realized she took the car with the Reese's car seat, which was the car I was supposed to later take to run to the store with Reese (actually go to the party). We frantically called his mom and created a plan to get Husbandy and his dad out of the house, so Reese and I could be picked up. We got them out of the house, were picked up, moved the van (so that when Husbandy and his dad returned I wasn't gone with the van still there), and I let Husbandy know we were no longer at the house. He then told his dad that I had gone to the store with Reese, but his dad remembered that the van didn't have the car seat in there! We were going to tell him it was moved that morning before his mom left, but he had actually driven the van earlier that morning to go to the store. SO Husbandy had to make up some crazy story that went a little like this "well she just went a block down the road, so she probably just strapped Reese in" and he bought it! When Husbandy told me that was his story I was like what?? I would never do that!!! Either way everyone was at the party waiting on the guest of honor. To get him there, a phone call was made saying "Ronnie! My water heater broke and there is water everywhere! Please come help!" Husbandy said they flew to car and raced down the road to the house. Mr Wagner came in looking for the water all over the floor and instead found family and friends yelling, surprise!!!
